In the CAS award of 13th July 2016 Wilfried Osei Kwaku Palmer and his Tema Youth Football Club defeated the Ghana Football Association at the association’s own laws in the landmark case titled “Tema Youth Football Club v GFA” as player Daniel Gozah was dishonestly and criminally re-registered as Cudjoe Mensah by Dreams FC.
But what will happen on Tuesday August 4th when the same arbitral sports body renders a judgement on the case filed by the Tema Youth president and responded by the Kurt Okraku-led GFA?
Palmer was adjudged to have failed an integrity check that ruled him out of the 2019 GFA Presidential elections and has gone to CAS to seek justice.
