Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach Michael Osei has denied harbouring any form of hatred for defender Samuel Kyere.
The defender earlier on disclosed that the coach dislike him due to his affiliations with former coach David Duncan and has demoted him to the reserve side of the Kumasi based club.
But Michael Osei however has rubbished the claims of the player ,stating that “I don’t hate him. If I hated him, he wouldn’t have played a single game under me. He erred and as a coach I had to punish him but I hold nothing against him” he told Asempa FM.
Michael Osei also failed to answer questions on the allegations of match fixing between his outfit and Ashgold averring that “that game is past so I won’t talk about it”.
Asante Kotoko finished the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League on 5th position on the log, after losing the top four spot to Medeama SC.
