Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom- President of the Groupe Ndoum- has urged supporters of Elmina Sharks to troop to the stadium to support the club in their last two games of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
The Elmina-based club are struggling in the league, languishing in the relegation zone after 32 games, with just 35 points taken from those games.
The team is yet to taste a win in any of their last three league games, and could head back to the lower division should they fail to improve their performances.
However, Nduom has urged the club’s supporters to turn up in their numbers at the stadium for Sharks’ home game against Legon Cities.
In an interview with Elmina’s Ahomka FM, he said: “I plead with every supporter who can go to the stadium to go in their numbers and push the club to victory.”
“I am urging them to make the noise and cheers to boost the players’ morale and play for the victory.”
Nduom also advised the fans against being involves in any form of hooliganism, which has seen some rise in the last few weeks.
Sharks will host the Royals in match-day 33 of the Ghana Premier League, knowing that a win will boost their chances of survival.
