Communications director of the Ghana Football Association Ibrahim Saani Daara has refuted claims by former Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan that the just ended league Ghana Premier League(GHPL) is ” total rubbish”

Duncan who was sacked by Asante Kotoko management following his shambolic start to the 210 Ghana Premier League season on Tuesday alleged that the just ended league was a ”total rubbish and full of matching fixing, an assertion he claims could not produce a genuine winner of the trophy.

Reacting to comments by the coach, the former BBC broadcaster stated that Duncan’s assertions were “uneducated, unfair and mere allegations with no iota substance”

“Duncan is making an uneducated debate. You can’t judge the standard of the league on mere allegations. If you want to assess the just ended league, you have look at fans patronage, quality of football displayed, organization of the competition among other factors” Saanie said on Asempa FM.

The Ghana Premier League ended last Sunday with Wa All Stars being crowned champions.
