Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen could leave Dutch Eredivisie side PSV as he is not part of head coach Roger Schmidt’s plans for the new season.
Reports according to Eindhovens Dagblad, state there is no club yet solid for the 26-year-old defender, but PSV have already indicated to him that they do not want to continue with him.
The reports, if anything to go by, means Luckassen will end four disappointing years at the Philips Stadion this summer.
Only in his first season did the Amsterdam-based player make regular appearances and made 19 appearances in the Eredivisie, but then he was loaned out three times.
At Hertha BSC, Anderlecht and Kasimpasa Luckassen could not prove why he should be in the starting line-up at PSV.
PSV signed Luckassen in the summer of 2017 after paying AZ 5 million euros and has a contract until mid-2023 in Eindhoven.
