Obuasi Ashantigold Sc is expected to announce a new coach by June 24 2021. This follows the departure of Milovan Cirkovic some in February this year.

Former Berekum Chelsea trainer Hans Van der Pluijm has been linked to the Miners and he likely to be named as their new technical head barring any unforeseen circumstances per Fox FM Sports.
The club originally had inquired about former Hearts of Oak coach Frank Nuttal. However he asked them to give him up to the end of May for negotiations to commence since he has a running contract with Ethiopian giants St Georges.
The 72-year old Van der Pluijm is currently without a club.
