Former Ghana U-20 star, Ebenezer Assifuah scored his first goal of the season for Pau FC against Chamois Niort FC in the French Ligue 2.
The former Liberty Professionals man scored his first goal this campaign in Pau’s 4-1 mauling of Niort.
The visitors struck first in the 13th minute through Brahimi Doukansy but Assifuah restored parity for the hosts inside the 38th minutes.
Cheikh Sabaly made it 2 – 1 to Pau on the stroke of half time to turn the game in the hosts favour before the break.
Sabaly got his second goal of the match in the 80th minute as Romain Armand added the icing on the cake in the 90th minute to it 4-1 Pau on the night.
The 27-year-old Ghanaian striker has one goal in eight games for his club this campaign in the second tier of French football leagues.
