Black Meteors forward, Bernard Tekpetey was over the moon after lifting his first league trophy with 10-consecutive Bulgarian champions Ludogorets Razgrad.
The 23-year-old predator finisher could not hide his feelings, appreciation and gratitude to the Most High for a successful campaign in his first season with the Green and Black Eagles.
“Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. Really proud to be part of this historic journey,10 titles in a row and the highest active series of consecutive title in Europe.Grateful Lord. Champions”,he wrote on social media.
Tekpetey scored the only goal for Ludogorets Razgrad in their narrow defeat Lokomotiv Plovdiv on Saturday afternoon but the defeat could do or have little effects on their title celebrations.
The Schalke 04 man on loan at the Ludogorets has scored two goals and provided six assists this season in the Bulgarian First Professional League since he joined before the start of the season.
The Ghanaian forward is half way through his loan deal at the club and will spend the next season with the Bulgarian giants who have won the league title for a record 10th consecutive seasons.
