Former Black Stars midfield general, Michael Essien has shown his excitement and pleasure to be a part of Danish side FC Nordsjaelland’s coaching staff.
The former Olympic Lyon box-to-box midfielder tweeted on his official account to express how honoured he feels about his new role at the club.

The 37-year-old former Chelsea FC legend is undergoing the process of completing his coaching badges and has been added to the team’s coaching staff for the upcoming season in the Denmark Superligaen.
Essien will also train with the first team and will provide advise on and off the field to the young and enthusiasts players of the club as part of his agreement with the Tigers.
