Ghana target Eddie Nketiah scored for Arsenal on Thursday night as they walloped Rapid Vienna in front of 2,000 fans in the Europa League at the Emirates Stadium.
It had been 271 days since the supporters were last inside Emirates Stadium and the Gunners won in a grand style.
Alexandre Lacazette scored just after ten minutes into the game to put the host ahead before Pablo Mari scored eight minutes later to extend their lead to 2-0.
Edward Nketiah, however, grabbed his goal on the night and Arsenal’s third goal with just a minute before the end of the first half.

Back from recess, Koya Kitagawa pulled one back for the visitors in the 47th-minute mark of the game but that wasn’t enough to at least fetch Rapid Vienna even a point at the Emirate Stadium as Emile Smith-Rowe struck in the 66th minute to wrap up an emphatic 4-1 victory for the Gunners.
