Ghanaian midfielder Edmund Addo has reached a one-year contract extension agreement with Slovakia top-flight side FK Senica.
Addo has been in a rich vein of form this season playing as a centre back. He has two goals to his credit in 16 games and there are significant reports of major European clubs circling around him.
The 20-year-old joined Senica from Mamprobi Mighty Cosmos two years ago and has since stamped his mark on the Super Liga. His exploits last year earned him the best player in the league by the Daily Sports newspaper in Slovakia.
This season, Edmund has been named amongst the ten best players in the Slovak league. Senica are currently 9th on the league rung.
