Newly promoted Egyptian Premier League side Future FC have officially unveiled former Karela United FC striker Diawisie Taylor ahead of the 2021-22 season.
Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively confirmed the transfer of the player some few months ago after the Ghana Premier League season came to a close.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian attacker was announced by the Egyptian side on a three-year contract after successfully passing his mandatory medical test.
Taylor ended the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season as the top scorer and has gone ahead to join the Cairo-based team for an undisclosed transfer fee.
He scored 18 goals in 31 appearances and also provided seven assists, winning the Player-Of-The-Match four times in the league for Anyinase-based Karela United.
Taylor walked into the Ghana U23 the Black Meteors team after a break through season in the domestic league which shot him into stardom.
He was also invited by CK Akonnor for Ghana’s AFCON qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.
The 2021-22 campain of the Egyptian elite division will kick start on Sunday as Future take on newly-promoted Pharco FC at home.
