Former Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Thomas Abbey has had his contract with Egyptian Club Ismaily SC abrogated.
The player leaves the Egyptian Club just six months after joining the Club as free agent.
Abbey is believed to have told the club to terminate his contract on a mutual grounds after failing to impress them during his six months spell.
‘’Yes it is true, I just spoke to one of their management members and he confirmed the player has cancelled his deal,” a source in Egyptian is quoted as saying by Ghanasportsonline.com.
“He did not reveal what actually lead to the termination of the contract but I believe the player might have fallout with the Club.”
Abbey, who was a member of the Black Stars B team that won last year’s WAFU Cup joined Ismaily after a splendid season with Hearts of Oak where he finished as the Club’s top scorer with 12 goals.
