Head Coach of the Black Stars, CK Akonnor has invited 8 local based players to the National team ahead of the two friendly games against Morocco and Ivory coast.
The Black Stars gaffer as expected named Razak Abalora, Gladson Awako and Ismail Ganiyu as the trio have been very impressive in the local league. U20 star goalkeeper, Danlad Ibrahim was also handed a call up after series of incredible display for his new side King Faisal.
Rashid Nortey of Medeama, Philemon Baffour of Dreams FC, Joseph Adjei Legon Cities and budding teenager Abdul Fatawu of Steadfast FC also add up to the midfielders and Defense respectively.
The call-up of 8 local based players will serve as a booster for all the local players as each and everyone dreams to represent their country at national level.
