Fans at the Accra Sports Stadium were treated to a thrilling football match during the Division One League Zone 1 playoff.
It was a tough battle between Eleven Wonders and Real Tamale United (RTU), and the game ended with a 2-1 win for Wonders.
The excitement began early when Frank Awere scored in the 13th minute to give Wonders the lead. Both teams pushed hard after that, creating chances and keeping fans on the edge of their seats.
In the second half, Blabala Bamon added another goal for Wonders in the 67th minute, making it 2-0.
RTU didn’t give up, and they got a goal back through Farouk Ameyaw in the 90th minute. But it was too late to change the result.
After 90 minutes plus 3 extra minutes, the final whistle blew: Wonders 2 – 1 RTU. The win gives Wonders an important boost as they continue their playoff journey.
