Dutch born Ghanaian attacker Elvis Manu says he has no intention of returning to the Dutch topflight now.
Manu has previously played for Feyenoord Rotterdam, and Go Ahead Eaglles Cambuur SC all in the Netherlands but has played down an immediate return to the country following his superb outing with Bulgarian giants Ludogorets.
“I don’t necessarily have to go back to the Netherlands yet, “Manu continues. “It was nice that my girlfriend and children were there when we became champions at home against Beroe Stara Zagora at the beginning of this month.” Manu told AD
“In Razgrad, a small town, football is terribly important to the people. Ludogorets, a fusion club, is the local pride. Until November we were able to play with an audience. When we had to go home against Tottenham Hotspur for the Europa League, the fans were no longer welcome. ” He added.
Manu netted for goals in 22 league games as Ludogorets won the Bulgarian League.
