Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Boateng impressed greatly for Hopoel Tel Aviv as they defeated Bnei Sakhnin 3-2 away in the Israeli top flight final game on Monday evening.
The Ghanaian midfielder was in top for for Tel Aviv as he bossed the middle to help his side pick all three points in Sakhnin at the stadium Doha Stadium.
Mufalah Shlaata just after six minutes into the game to give the hosts a 1 – 0 lead but his goal was cancelled by Shlomi Azulay in the 25th minute from the spot.
Hopoel Tel Aviv after getting the equalizer starting pressuring Bnei Sakhnin and got a 2-1 lead through Osher Davida in the 36th minute to end the first half in their favour.
Gil Itzhak, in the 65th minute extended the visitors’ lead to 3-1 with a fine strike before Mufalah Shlaata grabbed the second consolation goal for the home team after 90+1.
Boateng, 23, has had a good season in the Israeli Premier League this campaign, playing a total of 25 league matches with a goal to his name.
