Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Boateng helped his side Hopel Tel Aviv on Wednesday 19th May, 2021 to reach the Israel State Cup finals after defeating Beitar Tel Aviv on penalties.
Hopoel Tel Aviv drew 1-1 against Beitar Tel Aviv after the full 90 minutes before picking a 7-6 win during the penalty shootouts to secure qualification to the grand finale of the competition.
Boateng was introduced into the game in the 59th minute to replace Azulay and bossed the midfield with his excellent passes and ball distribution.
The former WAFA and Aduana Stars player has been one of Hopoel Tel Aviv’s top performers this campaign. He has played 24 league games with a goal to his name.
Hopel Tel Aviv will battle with winner of the game between Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Avin for the trophy.
