Ghanaian forward, Emmanuel Boateng was on target for New England Revolution FC against New York City FC in the Major League Soccer in America on Saturday.
The Ghanaian attacker grabbed his second goal of the league campaign in America in his team’s 2-1 victory at home over a tough time side NYCFC.
The visitors struck first through Santiago Rodríguez on the 11th minute mark.
Ten minutes later, the home team restored parity with the Ghanaian scoring the equalizer for the Red and Whites after 21 minutes of the match to make it all square again.
He scored with a left-footed strike from the center of the box into the bottom right corner following a nice set up by Edward Kizza.
Tajon Buchanan netted the winning goal for the home team five minutes after the hour mark to make the final score 2-1.
The 27-year-old versatile forward has played seven matches in the 2021 MLS for New England Revolution and has two goals and three assists to his credit.
