Ghanaian international Emmanuel Lomotey insists he is cool with any position he is used on the pitch though he is primarily a central midfielder.
The budding central midfielder mentioned that sometimes you have to go out of your comfort zone for the benefit of the whole team and that is what he is doing.
“I really feel more comfortable in the middle. I’m better as a midfielder, I really feel comfortable there. I can play defense also because sometimes you have to sacrifice yourself for the club. But I really feel more comfortable in the middle.” Lomotey told Gazette Sports.
“I don’t think my start to the season has been great, I’m not happy with my performance at the moment. I know I can do better and I am working for it.”
Amiens are tenth on the table with 23 points from seventeen games and the Ghanaian enforcer believes they can move up the league log.
“I think Amiens should be higher, we are not happy with our ranking because we are capable and we have to do better. We should fight with the top teams. We are not satisfied with this position.”
Lomotey joined Amiens from Spanish side Extremadura for a reported fee of 500,000 Euros last summer and has so far made eleven Ligue 2 appearances providing one assist.
