Ghanaian defender Emmanuel Ntim has pointed out that he is pleased with the competition at his club in relations to the Central defense department.
The former Ghana Under 20 player mentioned they have good players at the back and everyone wants to play so he always lifts up his game in order to get the nod.
“I’ve never seen defense competition like this. We are six players who can play in the axis for two places.” Ntim stated ahead of their Ligue 2 game with Amiens this evening
“Competition is good to develop each player. You have to prove every weekend otherwise, you lose your place. All our centre backs are good players.”
“My goal is to play every game and be 200%, for the team and for myself. When you play well, the team plays well.” He added.
Valenciennes are currently 9th on the league log with 21 points from fifteen games.
