Grimsby Town have announced the capture Ghanaian youngster Akwesi Asante from Solihull Moors FC on a two-and-half-year deal.
Grimsby Town announced the signing of the Dutch-born Ghanaian striker on Wednesday after successfully passing his routine medical.
The Newly-Promoted League two side official statement said”We are delighted to announce that we have reached an agreement with Solihull Moors Football Club for the permanent transfer of striker Akwasi Asante”
Akwesi Asante stated his professional career at Birmingham City, where he enjoyed loan spells at Northampton Town and Shrewsbury Town respectively.
Asante netted 12 goals in 24 league and FA Cup appearances for Solihull Moors FC this season.
The youngster was unveiled together with English midfielder Jamey Osborne, who joined from Notts County.
