Ghanaian defender Enock Kwateng will not feature on Sunday when his side Girondis Bordeaux host Lens at the Matmut Atlantique Stadium.
The talented right-back has accumulated yellow cards and has therefore been suspended by the French federation for the match day 5 fixture.
Kwateng was yellow carded in games against Olympique Marseille, SCO Angers and OGC Nice and now has to serve a one-match banned.
The absence of Kwateng in this weekend gome game will be a big blow for manager Vladimir Petkovic as his side needs a win to lift themselves up from the relegation zone.
