In a surprising development, Ivorian midfielder Serge Eric Zeze has swiftly secured a new club with Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca, just 48 hours after mutually terminating his contract with Asante Kotoko.
Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM reported the news of Zeze’s imminent move.
The 24-year-old player left Asante Kotoko on Tuesday, June 18, following disciplinary issues.
Despite this sudden departure, Zeze has already agreed in principle to join Raja Casablanca and is expected to finalize the deal upon his imminent arrival in Morocco.
Zeze is set to fly to Casablanca tonight to complete the necessary formalities and sign his contract as a Raja player.
During his time with Asante Kotoko, Zeze featured in 46 matches and scored three goals, registering one assist.
