After a humiliating 6-1 defeat to SuperSport United on Tuesday night, Orlando Pirates coach Muhsin Ertugral revealed that he will resign.
The Buccaneers led 1-0 at the half-time break but let in a staggering six goals in the second half to slump to a massive defeat.
Speaking after the game, Ertugral said, “I have no thoughts. With a result like that, I am ashamed with this situation for this great club. I don’t have any words.
“I have never seen a disastrous 45 minutes like that. I don’t know in the history of Pirates if they’ve ever lost by this margin.
“I can only speak to my chairman tomorrow and put my resignation. We are responsible for what happened on the field today and don’t deserve to wear the Orlando Pirates jersey.”
