Joseph Wollacott : 7
He made some crucial saves which kept Ghana in the game, his general ball delivery was perfect. This was his third Black Stars game and he is gradually cementing his place in the team
Andy Yiadom: 4
Another average performance from the Reading defender, he could not exert himself into the game and was overrun on some occasions by the Ethiopian wingers
Baba Rahman: 8.5
Very solid on the left side defence, he defended gallantly and moved forward on countless times to join the attack. He was Ghana’s best player on the field
Daniel Amartey: 6
The Leicester City guardsman was quiet on the day but made some good interceptions as the Ethiopians threatened the Ghana vital area
Joseph Aidoo: 2
Responsible for Getaneh Kebede equalizer, he was shivering al over and playing with fear. He let Ghana down in the game
Baba Iddrisu: 3
He failed to provide adequate cover for the Ghana back four and allowed the Ethiopians to also seize the midfield.
Mohammed Kudus: 5
Played deeper in midfield and was not at his usual best though he made some nice incursions. The output of Baba Iddrisu made it difficult for him to play his normal game as he had to stay close and help him.
Jordan Ayew: 4
He saw less of the ball as Ghana initiated most of the attack from where Kamaldeen was operating
Andre Ayew: 8
Netted a wonderful free kick to give Ghana the opener, was superb in moving forward until he became lethargic and had to be substituted.
Richmond Boakye: 1.5
Added nothing to Ghana’s game, had a clear chance to double Ghana’s lead but blasted the ball over the ball from 8 yards. He was taken off in the 62nd minute.
Kamaldeen Sulemana: 8
Another excellent display from the Stade Rennes teenager, he caused serious problems for the Ethiopian defenders with his pace and artistry. He really had a good game.
