Ghanaian teen attacker Kingsley Ofori Asante has signed a short-term deal for Finnish top-tier side SJK Seinajoki from EurAfrica Academy FC, the club has announced.
The 19-year-old penned a six-month contract with the Veikkausliiga side in a deal brokered by ArthurLegacy Sport with an option to extend his stay if he impresses the technical handlers at the club.
”Kingsley Ofori Asante, 19, is a Ghanaian winger who will move to Seinäjoki from EurAfrica FC with a one-year loan agreement. The agreement also includes a call option. The nimble and technical Kingsley Ofori has played most of his junior years in Italy, including the Cremonesen and Parma junior teams. With the SJK Academy, he has been in the training games this spring and succeeded in scoring once,” the club published on its official website.
Ofori impressed the technical handlers of Seinajoki after a trial session. The skillful forward will be joining the second team to ease his way to the first team.
Born in Drobo in the Bono Region, Ofori had previously attracted interest from Italian outfit Cremonese.
