Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Cofie came off the bench to feature in Sivasspor’s 3-2 win against Qarabag in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.
Coufie was introduced into the game in the 20th minute by coach Riza Calimbay to replace injured Robin Yalcin.
Qarabag were cruising to Abdellah Zoubir’s 8th-minute goal before the Ghanaian international was introduced to the game.
Ace striker Arouna Kone scored from the spot in the 40th minute to level things up for Sivasspor.
But Uros Matic struck six minutes back from recess to puts the hosts in front before Olarenwaju Kayode scored again for Sivasspor in the 58th minute.
Kone became the hero for the Turkish club as he registered the winner in the 79th minute.
Meanwhile, his compatriot Kwabena Owusu lasted the entire duration of the match but was flashed with a yellow card during the game.
