English Premiership side Everton have officially asked La Liga outfit Real Valladolid over the availability of Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu.
The 21-year-old centre back has been in fine form for the White and Violets this season making 29 league appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist which has caught the eyes of several English teams including Manchester United, Southampton and Newcastle.
Now the latest EPL club to make their interest in Salisu is Everton. The Toffees are still looking for central defender to fill the void left by Kurt Zouma who left back to Chelse at the beginning of this season.
According to the Mirror, Everton are the keen on the guardsman and have asked Real Valladolid and his agent Juan Mata SNR to ‘keep them informed on developments’ regarding to Salisu.
Salisu has a £10m release clause in his current contract which expires on June 30, 2022..
