Everton are interested in signing Ghanaian youngster Mohammed Salisu from La Liga outfit Real Valladolid.
The Toffees are yet to find a quality replacement for Kurt Zouma who returned to Chelsea at the beginning of this season and manager Carlo Ancelloti has set his sight on the 21-year-old Ghanaian.
According to English tabloid “The Mirror” the Merseyside club are in strong contention for the signature of Salisu with just one-year left on his Valladolid contract and they will go ll out to get him.
Salisu’s buy out clause is 12 Million Euros and he has caught the eyes of several teams including Atletico Madrid, Rennes and others.
Stade Rennes were eager to sign him this week but he declined and told his agent Juan Mata Senior that he prefers England.
He has made 29 La Liga appearances this season scoring one goal.
