Ghana international, Stephen Asare Baffuor has officially joined Iraqi outfit Al-Qasim SC.
Baffour, who previously played for Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea during his time in Ghana joins his new club from rivals Al Najrat.
Al Qasim SC wrote regarding the player: “The administration succeeded in contracting with Stefan Bafor, after he scored a number of influential goals with Najaf, to be the first additions of professionals in preparation for the next season.”
“The administration has attracted a number of young players, including Mortada Ali coming from the refineries, Ahmed Hodeib from the police club’s reserve, and the player Karar Nour for Al-Qasim Club.
“The team started its training at Al-Burj Stadium under the supervision of coach Qahtan Hatheer, and there is a desire from the young players that the next student season will be completely different from the last season.”
The striker has had stints in clubs like AS Yanda, El Raja and Aydlin Yilmiz in his stunning career.
