Ex-Ghanaian goalkeeper, Abubakur Damba has praised Ibrahim Danlad for his extraordinary qualities as a young goalkeeper.
The under-20 star signed for Kumasi-based King Faisal after emerging as the best goalkeeper in the U20 tournament in Mauritania.
In an interview on GTV sports, Abubakr Damba said “He has brought stability in the defense this is a goalkeeper who is so brave, and I think he has added a lot of value to the young goalkeepers coming up”.
The former Ghana international was also very impressed with the level of goalkeeping in the league so far.
“So what makes me feel very good is the Performances of the various goalkeepers regardless of the results and as much as results is important how are they performing as individuals with their specific roles and functions as team players and I think this league has produced so much that we have a blend of maturity and young goalkeepers”.
Ibrahim Danlad’s side travels to the capital to face Accra Hearts of Oak in a game very crucial to their survival in the league as they currently lie 17th on the league log.
