Ex-Hearts striker Sadat Karim is excited to score his 4th league goal in the Swedes Allsvenskan for his team Halmstads BK on Saturday afternoon against Östersunds FK.
The Ghanaian forward was pleased to be on the score sheet for the team but disappointed as they threw away their lead to draw 1-1 at home.
“Alhamdulillah. Another goal today but unlucky not to be able to get all the 3 points. Thanks to all the fans that showed up and supported us to the end. We keep ours heads up and fight till the end”, he wrote on social media after the game.
The former Phobian grabbed the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up after 40 minutes of play.
Sadat Karim’s left-footed effort from the center of the box found the bottom right corner to register his name on the score sheet in the Sweden Allsvenskan once again.
Blair Turgott leveled matters for the home team on the 43rd minute mark to restore parity for the away team before heading to the dressing room.
The 29-year-old Ghanaian forward has four goals in 21 games with one assist.
