Ghanaian striker Kwame Opoku excelled for USM Alger in their slim home win over WA Tlemcen in the Algerian top-flight on Saturday evening.
Belkacem Brahimi converted a first half penalty to give USM Alger a narrow home victory against WA Tlemcen in the match-week 22 fixture at the Stade Omar Hammadi.
Opoku, 22, played the full 90 minutes of the ganme.
The Black Stars striker who netted 9 goals in 20 games during his short speel with Kotoko, has scored one goal and also provided one assist in his three outings for USM Alger since joining in April 2020.
Opoku who made his debut for the Black Stars in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa, has been named in Coach Akonnor’s squad for the two International friendlies against Morocco and Ivory Coast next month.
