Exceptaonlally gifted Ghanaian forward, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has received a call-up from CK Akonnor for Ghana’s upcoming friendly matches against Morocco and Ivory Coast.
The CAF U-20 best player showed the World his capabilities and talent during the 2021 CAF U-20 Championship in Mauritania and has been growing in the game since the tournament.
Fatawu also provided a scintillating performance in Ghana’s friendly game against Uzbekistan and scored a scorcher of a free-kick to announce himself to the rest of the world.
This season, the young but gifted youngster has scored eight goals and provided 10 assists in the National Division One League for his team Steadfast FC who are pushing for promotion into the top-flight.
With his brilliant technique and eye for goal display both in the domestic league and at the CAF U-20 Championship, it is not surprising to see the young man make the cut for the June friendly games.
The 17-year-old is on course to make his first senior bow against either Morocco or Ivory Coast next month.
