Negotiations between newly promoted Turkish Superlig side Adanademispor and Belgian giants Genk over Ghanaian international Joseph Paintsil has reached an advanced stage.
Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively reveal officials of Adanademispor are currently in Belgium and a meeting was held on Sunday morning between the two parties over the possible sale of Paintsil next month and the results are positive.
With just a year left on his existing contract, Genk are demanding an amount of 700,000 Euros as the transfer fee of Paintsil of which Adanademispor are ready to pay.
Paintsil played the just ended season in Turkey with Ankaragucu where he netted eleven goals in 33 games despite the team’s failure to survive the topflight.
