Swiss second tier side FC Aarau are close to completing the signing of former Kotoko stalwart defender Ahmed Adams for an undisclosed fee, sources close to both clubs have told SportsworldGhana.com exclusively.
The Black Stars ‘B’ defender is nearing his move to the Aarau based club who plays in the SWITZERLAND Challenge League and his transfer is expected to be complete by the end of next week.
Adams has refused to renew his contract with Asante Kotoko and has therefore been excluded from the FA Cup Champions squad submitted to CAF for this year’s CAF Confederations Cup competition making his move to Stadion Brügglifeld almost a finished deal.
All in all, a deal has certainly been agreed in principle and it should be a done deal by the end of next week once the player undergoes a medical.

FC Aarau formed in 1902 have won the National League A/top League three times, 1912, 1914 and 1993.
