Ghana international Alhassan Wakaso has joined Cypriot topflight side Olympiakos Nicosia.
The talented defensive midfielder moves to the ambitions Cypriot side on a free transfer from Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes.
Wakaso was on the radar of Turkish club Kayserispor but the deal could not go through making him to move to Cyprus.
He becomes the second Ghanaian in the set up of Olympiakos with the other one being Kingsley Sarfo.
Wakaso has previously featured for Portimonense, Rio Ave as well as Lorient.
