Ghana Premier League giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko, have penned down club legend Maxwell Konadu to be come the new Head Coach of the club.
The Porcupine Warriors are currently without a substantive head Coach following the rsignation of Coach Abdul Karim Zito. The former Dreams FC gaffer quit his Kotoko job prior to their Super Clash fixture against archrivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
With Prince Owusu stepping in as interim head coach and also supervising the club’s, 1-0 loss to Accra Hearts of Oak last Sunday, management of the Kumas-based club have already opened talks with Maxwell Konadu for a switft appointment as the club seek to reoganise themselves for their remaining League fixtures.
Innitial reports linked former Accra Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Badu to the club but Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that supporters and section of the club’s officials have quickly kicked against Samuel Boadu’s appointment as they believe he is not the right man to lead Asante Kotoko following certain comments he previously made about the club while in charge of Accra Hearts of Oak.
