Ghana Premier League giants Ashanti Gold SC have agreed a deal in principle with a Serbian coach after negotiations with enterprising young tactician, Ignatius Osei Fosu broke down, this SPORTSworldGhana.com can exclusively report.
It was earlier reported in the local media that, the Obuasi-based team had opened talks with head coach of Techiman Eleven Wonders, Ignatius Osei Fosu but the pursuit ended unsuccessfully after the two parties failed to reach an agreement.
Deep throat source within the club has disclosed to your most reliable sports news portal that, the club will officially appoint a Serbian coach in the coming days after reaching an agreement with him. The Serbian coach, will thus replace disgruntled former gaffer Roberto Landi who abandoned the team not long ago.
Landi, 64, was charged in the next season to handle the miners’ technical affairs, but ended his stay with the Ghanaian top flight’s four-time champions after disputes about his wages, leaving the club without a head coach. It is expected, the new Serbian coach will land in Ghana next week.
The Miners will be representing Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup
