Asokwa Deportivo SC captain, Joseph Gordon has joined Premier League side Kumasi King Faisal FC, Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively confirm.
The former Medeama SC kingpin joined the Green and Whites on the transfer deadline day from the Asokwa-based club ahead of the 2021-22 season.
Gordon won the Most Valuable Player award during his time at Medeama SC when he helped the team to win the MTN FA Cup Competition.
Last season, Gordon led Deportivo to the round of 16 of the MTN FA Cup Competition before they succumbed to a 2-1 loss to giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
Following his exploits in the Division One League Zone Two, where he scored four goals and provided five assist, the experienced midfielder has been signed up by Faisal for the upcoming 2021-22 season.
He previously had stint in Tunisia and also played for four-time Ghana Premier League winners Obuasi Ashantigold SC in 2016.
With his experience in the Ghana Premier League, Gordon is expected to hit the ground running for the Insha Allah Boys who escaped relegation on the final day of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season.
