Dutch teenager of Ghanaian descent Brian Brobbey will take an amount of 56,000 Euros weekly before tax after deciding to join German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.
Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that Brobbey, his agent Mino Raiola, and RB Leipzig were locked in talks on Thursday night and the outcome was that the young attacker would take home 59,000 Euros weekly in his imminent move to Leipzig this summer.
The current deal of the 19-year-old forward at Ajax will expire this summer and he is set to leave after both parties failed to reach an agreement on three occasions.
Last week, Ajax Sporting director flew to Monaco to hold talks with Brobbey’s agent Mino Raiola with the Dutch giants proposing a new offer but it was way below what he was expecting.
Brobbey is scheduled to fly to Germany on June 1, to have his medicals after which he will append his signature to the four-year deal.
He will be on the same wages with Alexander Sorloth, and Amadou Haidara.
