American Major League Soccer outfit Chicago Fire FC have parted ways with striker CJ Sapong after two years together
Sapong, 32, joined the “Fire” Club from Philadelphia Union in 2019 and made 45 appearances, scoring fifteen goals and providing two assists but has been released following the end of his contract.
The veteran striker has already been linked with a move to Houston Dynamos and official talks are set to begin soon.
He also previously featured for clubs including Orlando City and Sporting Kansas whilst on the international scene, he has been capped four times by the Yankees since 2012.
