French attacker of Ghanaian parentage Derick Osei Yaw is expected to sign for National League South outfit Oxford City FC on loan from Oxford United.
The 22-year-old striker was not registered for the league as Oxford United manager Karl Robbinson needed to sacrifice him and bring in Jordan Obita following an injury to one of their defenders.
Oxford United have started talks with Oxford City as they seek to loan him out until next season when he will be roped into the team.
Osei who previously played for Toulouse in France joined Oxford United this summer on a two-year deal after impressing on trials.
He is eligible to play in Cup games for Oxford United and has scored thrice in three Football League Trophy games for his side.
