Netherlands Eerste Divisie side Almere City are keen on making Ghanaian forward, John Yeboah‘s loan deal permanent at the end of the season, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
The former VFL Wolfsburg graduate joined Dutch Eredivisie side Willem II on a permanent basis from the German Bundesliga team ahead of the 2020-21 season.
After his deal to the Dutch top-flight team, Yeboah made nine Eredivisie appearances for Willem II and scored a goal and assist each in his few games for the club and also featured in the Europa League qualifying phase.
In January 2021, Yeboah was shipped out on loan to Second Tier side Almere and has impressed the technical handlers so far and has been considered a perfect fit at the club.
Since his move to Almere, Yeboah has been involved in fifteen matches in the Eerste Divisie and has scored three goals and one assist for the Red and Whites.
Almere has a slim chance to get to a play off spot with 71 points and four points behind second placed De Graafschap with two games.
The 20-year-old Ghanaian prodigy is expected to move back to his parent club Willem II but Almere City are confident of landing the services of the young man.
