WAFA head coach, Prosper Narteh-Ogum is set to for a new adventure at Ghana Premier League rivals, Asante Kotoko pending confirmation from the club, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
The Porcupine Warriors have reached out to the gaffer in an attempt to acquire his services ahead of the 2021/22 season after a poor campaign in the just ended season.
Kotoko, under the tutelage of Mariano Barreto ended the 2020/21 season in second position and missed out on a place in Africa after missing out on the MTN FA Cup.
With the club looking to start next season stronger, they have moved swiftly to appoint Narteh Ogum, who led WAFA to a historic third place finish last season.
Kotoko are however, yet to confirm the make an official announcement for the appointment of the WAFA man as their new gaffer despite early reports claiming he was expected to complete his deal as earlier as this week.
Ogum will replace Barreto, who has criticised the club since the end of the 2020/21 campaign, in the dugouts for the Kumasi-based club as preparations for next season commences.
