Experienced Ghanaian central defender will is set to continue his stay with French Ligue 1 side Metz for another one year.
The contract of the 33-year-old central defender is expected to end on June 30, 2021 but he could be in for a fresh deal which will keep him at the Stade Saint-Symphorien until the summer of 2022.
Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that manager Frédéric Antonetti, his technical team and the management of the club are all impressed with the output of Boye and talks will start for a new contract in the coming weeks.
Boye who is also the skipper of the side has made 26 Ligue 1 appearances this season scoring one goal and providing two assists as Metz continue to push for a Europa League slot.
Boye joined Metz from Turkish outfit Sivasspor in 2018 and has so far played 90 games, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
