The Finnish top-flight side have completed the signing of the former Right to Dreams Academy Graduate.
Ghana youth forward Eric Oteng has signed for Finnish club Tampereen Ilves Football Club after a successful trial, SportswouldGhana.com can exclusively confirm.
The 19-year-old signed a two-year-deal plus one-year renewable option in his contract with the Yellow and Green lads after impressing the club’s technical handlers during his trial sessions with the Tampere-based club.
Oteng who is comfortable playing as a winger has been likened to Juventus playmaker Paulo Dybala for his similar playing style.
The Ghanaian international joins Ilver Football Club from Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjaelland.
Oteng spent one season playing for FC Nordsjaelland’s U-19 team in the Danish Superliga U-19 before moving to Finland.
He scored 4 goals and provided four assists in the seven league matches for FC Nordsjaelland U-19 team.
The arrival of Oteng however, is a major boost for Ilves Football Club that is strengthening their attacking arm for the new season.
