Ghanaian midfielder Yaw Asante has signed for Italian lower division outfit Ripacandida on a one-year deal.
Asante, 29, joins the Eccelenza league club from Battipagliese where he featured last season.
The experienced central midfielder is expected to play a key role on the Ripacandida team as they seek to qualify to the Serie D.
Asante previously also featured for Grosseto in Serie B as well as Monza in the Lega Promo where he was one of their key players.
He was part of the Black Satellites team which failed to qualify for the 2011 Under 20 World Cup in Columbia.
