The Young Scorpions of Gambia will be having the services of West Ham teenager Serine Sanneh for next month’s U20 AFCON in Mauritania.
Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively reveal that the young shot-stopper has switched allegiance from England to the land of his parents and he will be in coach Matar Mboge’s side for the youth tournament.
The 18-year-old goal tender previously featured for the English Under 15, 16 and 17 teams and he is regarded as one of the best young keepers in England.
Currently, he plays for the West Ham Under 18 team and has made three league appearances so far this season.
Gambia will face Ghana, Morocco and Tanzania in Group C of the 2021 Under 20 AFCON which starts on February 14 in Mauritania
